Seven years earlier, in 1945, sisters Maria and Rosy Carita founded their eponymous house, swiftly moving beyond hairstyling to embrace beauty with a holistic vision.

Within this temple of beauty, CARITA artisans — including France's 2024 massage champion — craft their signature treatments: a meticulously choreographed repertoire of 53 precise gestures designed to sculpt, refine, and illuminate. These techniques are taught at the Carita Academy, created from the outset to provide ongoing training, ensuring beauty artisans always reach the highest standards. Complementing manual and cosmetic expertise, CARITA has incorporated technology since the 1960s, pioneering the combination of expert touch and instrumental cosmetology. After two years of meticulous renovation, Maison CARITA reemerged in 2022 within an expansive and luminous décor, masterfully redesigned by architects Sophie Thuillier and Cristiano Benzoni.
